Function Support Comparison List

This section will focus on describing the differences in supported features of the J6 series products in the current version of UCP, starting from the two operating systems Linux and QNX. Function points not mentioned in this chapter are assumed to have no difference in support between products and operating systems.

Linux

Warning

Currently, only J6E/M supports running the full process of target detection examples. Currently, only J6B supports GDC, PYM and CODEC processing of 10-bit and GDC, PYM processing of 12-bit images.

QNX

Warning
  • The entire J6 series does not support the full process example of target detection under the QNX operating system.
  • The Perfetto Trace tool in the UCP performance tool is not currently supported.
  • DEB packaging tools are not supported.
  • GPU custom operator development related to OpenCL is not supported.

In addition to the above limitations common to QNX, J6B also has other limitations listed in the following table:

ModulesFunctionJ6B
HPLHPL APINot supported
HPL SampleNot supported
VPVP operator based on DSPNot supported
VP operator based on JPUNot supported
Basic Image Processing ExampleNot supported
Image conversion exampleNot supported
Feature extraction exampleNot supported
Optical flow exampleNot supported

For details about the specific operators included in the VP operators implemented based on DSP and JPU, refer to Visual Algorithm Overview, and for the APIs included in HPL, refer to HPL API Overview. When an operator can be executed based on two backends, you can choose another backend other than DSP, such as PyrDown and Remap.
